STATE OF THE VALLEY REPORT
The State of the Valley website/report presents socio-economic indicators for Chisago and Washington Counties in eastern Minnesota and Burnett, Pierce, Polk, and St. Croix Counties in western Wisconsin. These counties, encompassing the St. Croix River Valley, have a combined population of nearly half a million residents.
While the St. Croix River delineates the state border between Minnesota and Wisconsin in this region, it is also the unifying feature for these six counties.
