This year, the Northwest Alliance Community Foundation brought an innovative mental health resource to the region. A Vibrant Communities grant supported Northwest Passage, a residential mental health treatment center based in northwestern Wisconsin. Funds supported the Navigator project, which adapts Northwest Passage’s therapeutic “8 Pathways” model and makes it available online at nwp-navigator.org.

The platform provides tools for families, schools, and partners—bridging the gap between treatment and everyday life. The project helps youth, families, and educators access early support, sustain progress, and reduce stigma.

As affiliate board chair Chris Moeller noted, “Navigator is a powerful example of innovation rooted in community need.”
