The River Falls Community Foundation serves the greater River Falls, Wisconsin area.
We are a community fund that seeks to attract and develop philanthropic assets to enhance the quality of life for individuals and families in the area.
We accomplish our mission by:
Building a community of donors
Offering simplicity and flexibility in charitable giving
Accumulating, managing and growing endowed funds wisely
Directing income from endowments to fund programs that enhance quality of life
Initiating, promoting and supporting further development of our community’s livability
The River Falls Community Foundation was formed in 1999 as an affiliate fund of the St. Croix Valley Foundation. Since its inception, it has funded many projects in River Falls and its assets have grown substantially.
The River Falls Community Foundation provides funding in the areas of education, human services, civic projects, youth, and environment. The BIG IDEA Grant program offers up to $10,000 for a high impact project.
The 2019 Big Idea Grant
Hudson Public Library for THE BIG FUN LAB. The space will benefit area children, parents, grandparents and caregivers. It will be a gathering space for caregivers and a place for kids to play, move and learn indoors during the coldest months
The 2018 Big Idea Grant
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin – St. Croix Valley Region
They received the first Big Idea Grant from RFCF to establish a revenue stream through SPORTING WORLD, while providing used sporting goods equipment to families in need via a store at 707A North Main Street.
SPORTING WORLD offers reduced pricing on new and used sporting goods for all.
