ENTRY PERIOD

HOW TO ENTER   ....(SCROLL DOWN FOR ENTRY FORM).....

1. To enter, attach your digital image photo (“photograph”) along with your name, contact information, and a brief image description including title and where the photo was taken.

2. Any photograph submitted must be the original work and property of the person submitting the photograph - and the image must be high resolution, 300 dpi preferred, and suitable for printing at a 16” by 20” size.

3. Each eligible photo submitted on the NACF website page will consist of one entry in respect to the judging process.

4. There is no entry limit; however, no more than one photograph will be selected per entrant.

5. By entering, you understand and agree that any photograph you submit may be refused for entry should the subject reasonably be considered inappropriate, unsuitable or offensive, as determined by the sponsors in their absolute discretion.

6. By entering, you give the sponsors the right and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, disseminate, publish, distribute, represent publicly, edit and modify the submitted photograph in this contest. You agree that your first and last name may be used in association with the submitted photograph.

7. Any attempt to enter in a fashion not authorized by these rules shall be deemed to be tampering and will void all of your entries. Entries that contain false information and/or are late, lost, stolen, falsified, illegible, damaged, misdirected or incomplete will be judged null and void and disqualified at the sponsors’ absolute discretion.

 

'AWARD’ DESCRIPTION

1. Any ‘award’ for the exhibition is described and defined as having your photograph selected by the panel of judges, from all entries, to be printed and displayed for public exhibition and potential sale/gifting at the Gallery and showcased on various related websites/social media pages.

 

SELECTION OF EXHIBITION PHOTOGRAPHS

1. Judging will be carried out by a panel of judges composed of representatives from NACF and Northwest Passage, Ltd.

2. All entries will be presented to the judging panel anonymously.

3. Decisions by the judging panel will be final and without appeal.

 

RELEASE OF LIABILITY/CONSENT TO PUBLISH

By entering your submission, each entrant accepts and agrees to (i) be bound by these contest rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) be bound by the decisions of the judging panel which are final, binding, and conclusive (without appeal) on all matters related to the exhibition.

 

Each submission authorizes the sponsors to use in any related publicity the entrant’s name, city and state of residence, photograph, image, and any statements he/she may make regarding such for advertising and promotional purposes in perpetuity, in any form of media including the internet, without limitation and without compensation to the entrant, permission or notification, unless prohibited by law.
