St. Croix Valley Foundation (SCVF) works hard to share stories about the grants and scholarships we offer, as well as the organizations and people who are awarded those grants and scholarships. We invite you to share your stories and photos, too, so we can partner with you to help spread the word about your work in our region. How to REFER TO SCVF
Our Organization:
When referring to St. Croix Valley Foundation in print, please use the following convention:
On first mention, please use our full name, followed by an abbreviation: "St. Croix Valley Foundation (SCVF)."
In subsequent mentions, you can use "St. Croix Valley Foundation" or "SCVF."
St. Croix Valley Foundation works in close collaboration with ten community affiliate foundations. Please following this convention if you need to reference any of our affiliates, using Amery Area Community Foundation as an example. Affiliate's full name, followed by an abbreviation: "Amery Area Community Foundation (AACF)."
Our Grants:
Our grants include Environmental Grants, Music Education Grants, First Thousand Days Grants, Valley Arts Grants, and Vibrant Communities Mental Health Grants. Whenever possible, please use the following language when referencing work or a program connected to one of our grants:
This project was funded (or funded in part) by an Environmental Grant from St. Croix Valley Foundation.
If you are receiving a grant from one of our ten community affiliate foundations, please use the following convention as an example:
This project was funded (or funded in part) by a Racial Justice Social Justice Grant from Stillwater Area Community Foundation, an affiliate of St. Croix Valley Foundation.
