The Stockholm Area Community Fund

Stockholm area revised.jpg

The Stockholm area boasts quaint community life and one-of-a-kind tourism which hugs the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi River. This Endowed Field of Interest Fund was established in 2022 to support this unique area, the people who live there, and the tourism which so many rely upon.

Field of Interest Funds invite others to contribute tax deductible gifts in support of the well-defined cause.

A key benefit of Field of Interest Funds is that the Fund remains flexible, identifying and supporting projects and programs needed in the Stockholm area, projects that enhance local living and tourism experiences.

Because this Fund is endowed, the principle is invested, providing earnings for grants in support of the Stockholm area FOREVER.

Those Who Live It, Love It

Stockholm (encompassing the village and broader town) is situated on the shores of Lake Pepin (the largest lake on the Mississippi River), with Maiden Rock just upriver and Pepin just south. Whether arriving by car, motorcycle, or exploring by ebike, or even cross county skis, visitors quickly realize why the area remains squarely on 'best of' lists for tourism and adventure. Locals, though relatively small in number, come for the unparalleled beauty and river-inspired pace of the area, while benefitting from plentiful tourism opportunities.

A few of the many accolades for the Stockholm area:
