The St. Croix Valley Environmental Fund is an endowed Field of Interest Fund.
Philanthropic gifts to endowed funds contribute to the principal, which is carefully invested to generate a spendable percentage. These spendable earnings generate grants awarded annually, which will target the environmental needs of the St. Croix Valley for generations to come.
Field of Interest Funds allow for flexibility – no particular nonprofit is pre-established as the fund’s grant recipient. Instead, the fund works continually within its grantmaking parameters. This allows the fund to address needs that are pressing, current, and most able to impact environmental issues in the St. Croix Valley for generations to come.
Your support will help us reach the minimum investment of $500,000 necessary to launch this fund and begin providing grants.
