We are thrilled to welcome three outstanding leaders to the St. Croix Valley Foundation's Board of Directors! Each brings unique expertise, passion, and a deep commitment to strengthening our communities. Roy Sjoberg – Roy Sjoberg retired from his law practice on July 2, 2021, and now spends his time volunteering for organizations that support youth, address social justice issues, promote the arts and music, or encourage international goodwill and better understanding of other cultures. Roy enjoys singing, golfing, biking, fishing, and attending Rotary Club meetings. Roy is a 1982 graduate of the U of MN School of Law. During his 39-year law practice, he represented professional practices and other small business owners, addressing issues related to real estate, finance, business, and succession planning. Awards of particular importance to Roy included being named a Super Lawyer by his peers and receiving the "Volunteer of the Year" award from the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce in 2001. Roy is a current Board member of CASA of St. Croix County, Inc., and is a 30-year member and Youth Exchange Officer of the Hudson Daybreak Rotary Club. Roy and his artistic wife, Lana, have resided in Hudson since 1988. Jennifer Turrentine – Jennifer Turrentine spent most of her childhood in Appleton, WI and Minneapolis.
