We build permanent endowments and provide philanthropic leadership, enabling donors to make lasting investments in the Amery area.
Amery Area Community Foundation (AACF) was established in 1984 by city officials, local organizations and concerned citizens as a community trust. Its purpose is to allow individuals the opportunity to make lasting, flexible gifts to meet the needs of Amery area residents. In 2008 AACF affiliated with St. Croix Valley Foundation and its goals remain steadfast; to assure donors that gifts made today will be professionally managed, used wisely and effectively, and will be utilized to enhance the community's future well being.
Proceeds from the endowed Amery Area Action Fund are used to provide $20,000 in grants to local non-profits and causes each year.
The Amery Regional Health and Wellness Fund focuses on issues in area schools and communities.
Local churches, non-profits, and the library have been able to establish long-term funds for future use.
Numerous endowed funds provide scholarships to local high school seniors each year.
Area families have created donor-advised funds to direct giving to their favorite causes and charities.
Information on upcoming grant focus areas and application deadlines will be posted here as soon as available.
