This has been a year full of highlights...

In 2024, we distributed $5.8 million in grants and scholarships.

We stewarded 512 charitable funds.

And we held $99.2 million in total assets.

LEGACY GIVING

Renewing our focus on legacy giving, we supported dozens of donors who decided to make a gift to St. Croix Valley Foundation through their estate. We helped donors make plans to support the Polk County History Museum, LGBTQIA+ students and families, and their own beloved communities for generations to come.

COMPETITIVE GRANTS
In 2024, St. Croix Valley Foundation also supported donors interested in general areas of focus through field of interest funds. We leveraged partnerships with local donors, foundations and organizations who contributed additional dollars for these competitive grant programs. In total, and alongside our collaborators, we awarded the following competitive grants:

  • MUSIC EDUCATION GRANTS awarded 16 grants totaling $45,056.

  • VALLEY ARTS GRANTS awarded 18 grants totaling $60,000.

  • FIRST THOUSAND DAYS GRANTS awarded 8 grants totaling $149,300.

  • VIBRANT COMMUNITIES MENTAL HEALTH GRANTS awarded 27 grants totaling $166,192.

  • ENVIRONMENTAL GRANTS awarded 8 grants totaling $41,000.

NEW OFFICES

In July, we relocated to the Alliance Center - Hudson's innovative new nonprofit hub. Along with our neighbors at Operation HELP, Hudson Area Backpack Program/Fresh Harvest Pantry, we're excited to be a part of the innovative new model that allows us to share resources while saving operational costs.

As you think about your year-end giving...

Consider partnering with St. Croix Valley Foundation. We truly are the organization in the St. Croix Valley focused on building permanent funds to forever support the work of our nonprofit partners. We are here to help and support donors, professional advisors and nonprofits plan for a future that takes care of what matters most.
