Both of John’s parents were US citizens, born and raised in California. They were interned in America’s concentration camps during WWII; John will share their stories, a couple of artifacts and perspectives of those experiences.

John and his wife Lori live in Shoreview, MN and they have three grown children. His Mother was a resident of Christian Community Homes (CCH) in Hudson until her passing in 2015 and her family established a scholarship for staff of CCH which is a part of the St. Croix Valley Foundation, called “Helping Hands Scholarship”.

The cost of the lunch and program is $17 and must be paid in advance to guarantee your reservation. (Any payments received on the day of the event will be charged $20 a ticket, if seats available.)
